We Are How’s Founder, Tamara Connolly, is an award-winning Creative Director that has built her career around working with social impact and wellness organizations. Her guidance focuses on enabling her clients to understand the cultural context in which their work exists in order to resonate with their audience on a deeper level. Tamara undertakes detailed research and methodical discovery as a crucial first step in her team’s design process, ultimately achieving a level of design that is fresh, intuitive, and compelling.

where does the name come from? 

The name “We Are How” was inspired by a quote from film critic Roger Ebert, “It’s not what a movie is about, it’s how it is about it.” This idea is analogous to our role working with clients — the subject matter is based on our client’s purpose, and we uncover what that really means to their audience so we can best shape the spirit of how it is projected.
